Nima Yoosij, Ahmad Shamlou, Mehdi Akhavan-Saless (Omid), Sohrab Sepehri, Qeysar Aminpour, Shafiei Kadkani: this is a galaxy of poets who raised Iranian poetry to the highest level. It contains the works of Nima Yoosij up to the works of contemporary poets, at least one composition of each poet.
There is no need to remind that the translation cannot be fully equated with the original, but the translator, Dr. Varand S. Kyurkchyan, did everything possible to convey the full depth of Iranian poetry to the reader.
