The book is dedicated to Olga Tumanyan, the wife of Hovhannes Tumanyan. Her century-long life encompassed everything — from the greatest love to the hardest losses and deprivations. This remarkably strong woman was not only the guardian of the family hearth and the mother of ten children, but also the poet’s muse, caring for him and creating every condition for his art and creative work. It was she who preserved Tumanyan’s manuscripts and archives, as well as his precious library and study, which were irrevocably dedicated to the Armenian people. The idea of opening a museum in Yerevan dedicated to the poet was also hers.

The book includes Olga Tumanyan’s memoirs, the story of her life, family photographs, her letters to relatives, and the memories of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Intended for a wide readership.
