Armenian World / Thematic Crosswords: Interactive Games

The collection is intended for those who can read and write in Armenian.

The electronic games are designed for preschool-age children (4–6 years old).

The crosswords cover topics related to Armenian studies, the everyday life and culture of the Armenian people, as well as Armenian grammar. In several crosswords, the questions are presented in the form of colorful pictures and riddles, stimulating the development of children’s imaginative thinking and curiosity.

Some of the crosswords are designed for family leisure, and solving them together will help create a warm and joyful family atmosphere.

Each crossword has its own QR code (quick response code), which allows access to the electronic version in order to learn or reinforce the corresponding topic.

The collection of thematic crosswords and interactive games has received a positive expert evaluation from the Krasnodar Scientific and Methodological Center and the Institute for the Development of Education, and since 2018 it has been included in the Municipal Bank of Effective Pedagogical Practices of the city of Krasnodar, Russian Federation. It has also received a positive expert assessment from the National Center for Educational Development and Innovation Foundation of the Republic of Armenia and has been approved by the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and the Khachatur Abovyan State Pedagogical University as a supplementary teaching resource for Armenian language instruction in the Diaspora. The collection of thematic crosswords and interactive games is recommended for teachers of Armenian, methodologists, and teacher-organizers working in the system of supplementary education.
