Arsène Lupin: Gentleman Burglar
3700 AMD
- Code1312
Lupin never surrenders and obeys only his own code of honor. For him, there is no better advertisement than his calling cards and the newspaper articles written about him. He even competes with the famous Baker Street detective Sherlock Holmes, whom you will meet in the pages of this book.
Based on the stories about Lupin, numerous films, animated series, stage productions, and comics have been created. Netflix has produced a series inspired by the book, which was watched by over 70 million people in its first month of release. It became the most-watched non-English-language series of all time.
Maurice Leblanc (Marie Émile Maurice Leblanc, 1864–1941) was one of the founders of detective fiction in France and a true classic of the genre. Leblanc was considered an unremarkable short story writer until he began publishing the first stories about Arsène Lupin in the magazine Je sais tout.
This book is based on the 1907 Paris edition published by Pierre Laffite.
Intended for adults and children over 12 years old.
