The collection includes Hovhannes Tumanyan’s poems, articles, and letters relating to questions of art, as well as letters from artists and memoirs about H. Tumanyan. It consists of the sections “Poems,” “Articles” (“Theatre and Drama,” “Fine Arts,” “Music,” “Architecture”), “Letters,” and “Appendix” (“Letters from Armenian Artists to Hovhannes Tumanyan,” “Masters of Art about Tumanyan”).
Reprinted from the book Hovhannes Tumanyan, On Art (Institute of Arts of the Academy of Sciences of the Armenian SSR, Yerevan, 1969). The preface (1968) was written by Martiros Saryan. Compiled and annotated by Irma Safrazbekyan.
