A Drop of Honey is an extraordinary satire tale based on an Armenian tale from the Middle Ages that tells how a spilled drop of honey caused bloodshed between two people who lived in neighboring villages, and then between those two villages, and then between states.

Julieta Avagyan is a songwriter and children’s choir conductor; infant and adult music lovers are familiar with her musical works. Particularly, her children's songs brought recognition to the author, most of which are included in public school textbooks.

A Drop of Honey is a musical performance for children and youth (folk opera) inspired by and based on Armenian folk music, filled with beautiful melodies and folk dance rhythms. It will become a celebration of Armenian music for schoolchildren. A CD is attached to the songbook.
