The illustrated album of Armenian national costume created by artist Gevorg Brutyan is the first work of its kind (1942–1952). However, it became accessible to Armenian readers only in 2022, thanks to Edit Print Publishing House.

The album presents Armenian costumes used from the time of Tigran the Great up to the mid-20th century, categorized by region and social class.

In creating the album, G. Brutyan drew upon archaeological, miniature, historiographical, and other scholarly sources, as well as sculptural reliefs, museum exhibits, and works of fine art.

The first section of the collection features historical costumes in chronological order; the second includes ethnographic costumes; and the third showcases the attire of Armenian statesmen, military leaders, officials, and merchants who held high positions in various countries, along with the ceremonial vestments of high-ranking clergymen.
