
FOUNDATION
Edit Print Publishing House was founded by physicist and astronomer Mkrtich Karapetyan in 1993, during the socially and militarily challenging transitional years of post-Soviet Armenia. Starting with only a few computers, the newly established publishing house gradually rose through dedication and perseverance to become, over the years, one of the leading publishers in Armenia’s book market.
FIELD OF ACTIVITY
Specializing in book printing and publishing, Edit Print has released more than 5,000 titles over the course of its activity. Its publishing work spans a wide range of fields:
Armenian Classical Literature – Hovhannes Tumanyan, Avetik Isahakyan, Raffi, Vahan Teryan, Stepan Zoryan, Yeghishe Charents, Zabel Yesayan, Shahan Shahnour, and others; “My Library” and “Identity” series.
World Classics (in Armenian translation) – Erich Maria Remarque, Agatha Christie, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Alexandre Dumas, Theodore Dreiser, Émile Zola, Oscar Wilde, Bram Stoker, and others.
Contemporary Armenian and World Literature (in Armenian translation) – Vahagn Davtyan, Norayr Adalyan, Nshan Abasyan, David Samvelyan, “Contemporary” series, John Green, Nicholas Sparks, Marc Levy, Georges Simenon, and others.

Educational Excursions
The best way to discover the magical world of books is by visiting Edit Print’s printing facilities. These educational excursions combine guided tours with development programs, giving schoolchildren and students an exceptional hands-on experience. Here, ordinary paper and ink turn into real books, and participants return enriched with new knowledge, skills, and inspiration.
Corporate Seminars
Edit Print organizes modern soft-skill workshops for corporate teams, supporting personal growth and improving workplace effectiveness.
Pan-Armenian Reading Competitions
The publishing house regularly hosts Pan-Armenian reading competitions aimed at cultivating students’ love for books and reading. Thousands of schoolchildren from Armenia and the Diaspora have participated in these events.
Collaboration and Professional Community
Edit Print collaborates with many distinguished writers, scholars, and educators. It operates a fully equipped modern printing house and publishing department, where discussions, seminars, and book presentations are frequently held.

Edit Print is a regular participant in Armenian and international book fairs and competitions devoted to publishing and book design. Over the years, it has received numerous awards, among them:
• Grand Prize from the Ministry of Culture of Armenia for the commemorative edition of Hakob Meghapart’s “Urbatagirk,” 2012.
• Best Publishing Company, awarded by the National Trust Council, 2013.

DIGITAL AND EDUCATIONAL PLATFORMS
One of Edit Print’s important initiatives was the creation of krtaditak.am, an educational and recreational website offering, in a single online space, the best examples of Armenian and world children’s literature, along with many engaging and educational articles and games.
Another platform, krtadarak.am, provides free access to electronic versions of Edit Print’s textbooks and methodological guides, available to both teachers and students.
DISTRIBUTION AND BOOKSTORES
Edit Print’s books are available throughout all regions of the Republic of Armenia — in bookstores, as well as in various shopping and tourism centers. The publishing house also operates its own Edit Print brand bookstore on its premises.
